Are you planning a romantic get away with your loved one? If you are and you want to make this the best vacation ever try to make it a surprise. The look on their face when they finally find out will absolutely be worth the extra trouble. Follow the advice below and you just might surprise yourself as well as your special someone!

FIND A LOCATION
To make this the most romantic vacation ever, find that special place for your special someone. Figure out their dream vacation location. This will surprise them more than you can imagine.

Maybe they would love a trip to Hawaii or Las Vegas. Maybe they would like an action adventure. Maybe they would love a nice quiet retreat and an easy going laid back vacation is the ticket.

Sometimes by telling someone your dreams you can get them to share their dreams and ideas. This would be a good start. Don't be obvious, think it through and figure out the best way to get this information without being suspicious. Often their best or closest friend may know more than you do about their dream vacation. Just make sure it is someone you can trust to keep a secret and don't tell them any more than you need to. It's usually best to keep a surprise like this a surprise to everybody. A secret this good may be too much for many to keep under their hat. Do your investigating sneaky like a private detective. Just be very careful not to make your loved one suspicious. Take your time and keep this as stress free as possible.

Planning this trip may prove to be more exciting than the actual vacation at times. You will probably find yourself learning more about your special someone and that's always a good thing!

MAKE ARRANGEMENTS IN ADVANCE
Putting everything together will be the trickiest part. You will need to find out the days when you and your partner are free. You will need to decide how many days you can both dedicate to each other. When you figure a time slot you have to make sure that the slot remains free. If you plan on leaving the country your partner will need a visa or passport. Making up a false less interesting get away may be necessary. This is not really dishonest because you are going to surprise them with a much better vacation. If your plane tickets will be mailed make sure they are mailed somewhere your partner will not be able to get or see them. If this vacation is going to be expensive you will want extra time to finance it. You don't want your partner to become suspicious about large withdraws from your bank accounts etc.

LETTING THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG
When you decide to let your loved one in on your secret is up to you. I personally would love to be surprised at the last minute. I know it can be tough keeping such a huge secret but when you spring this one on your partner the look on their face will be priceless. You may even want to have your camera ready for the big moment. Pictures like these are priceless and it will be a great first picture in your surprise vacation photo album. So don't forget to pack a camera and use it often during your once in a lifetime vacation.
